Who we are

Refined Space Crafters was founded by builder Nick Parslow. We build decks, kitchens, bathrooms and built-ins across greater Saratoga, and we take on specialty work many contractors pass over, from a curved garden bridge to a bulkhead replacement to a mosaic installation for the Saratoga Rowing Association.

The standard is the same on every job: accurate measurements, careful workmanship, and a finish that belongs with the house.

Frequently asked questions

What homeowners usually ask before a first visit.

What kind of work do you take on?

Decks and stairs, kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins and restoration of older homes, along with specialty projects such as bulkheads, outdoor showers and garden structures. If you are unsure whether your project is a fit, call or text us.

Where do you work?

Saratoga County and the Capital Region, including Saratoga Springs, Ballston Spa, Malta, Wilton, Clifton Park and Glens Falls. If you are elsewhere in the 518 area, ask; we take on projects farther out when the scope warrants it.

How does pricing work?

We visit the site first. You then receive a written scope of work with a price and a payment schedule tied to each phase. Any change is agreed in writing before the work proceeds.

Who will I deal with during the job?

One project lead and one crew from the first visit to the final walkthrough, with regular updates while the work is underway.

Do you do aging-in-place or accessibility work?

Not yet. Safe at Home, our home safety service covering assessments, stair rails, grab bars and accessible bathrooms, is in preparation. Join the waiting list to be notified when it opens.

How do I get started?
